Voguesville
I recently finished the sleeve design for “Voguesville“, the new novel from acclaimed writer/musician Cornelius Jakhelln, known in literary circles for the award-winning “Gudenes fall” and in the music scene for his involvement with Solefald and Sturmgeist.
The book, which is scheduled for release later this month, is a crime noir styled murder mystery with luciferian, nautical and ornithological overtones. From the presentation blurb:
“Esteban Loyola, heir to the prestigious Loyola fleet, is found murdered, with a pentagram carved into his chest. When King and Hanna, detectives with the Voguesville police force, begin to look into the case, suspicion falls on the town’s Lucifer Cult, which uses the pentagram. Cristian Satán, the leader of the cult, proclaims his innocence. But King, whom the police force has recruited because he is a seagull, refuses to give in… Calle Maria, Voguesville.”
